Continuing with the subject of negotiating to manifest money, in this post you will discover six additional rules to implement on your quest to manifest your destiny.

Rule #4  Striving for the Win-Win Deal

We discussed at the start of this series of negotiation posts the importance of building long lasting relationships. In order to create these special bonds, you must satisfy yourself as well as the other party. Creating Win-Win Deals.

As you enter into the negotiation, make sure you are focusing not just on getting the ultimate deal for yourself, but making the ultimate deal for the other person. Your relationship surely will falter if you leave little or no profit for the other person.

It is a common belief that the hard-boiled, take-it-or-leave-it negotiator who walks away with everything is the best negotiator. In fact nothing could be further from the truth.

Forget The Conception Hard-Boiled Negotiators Win. They Don't.

The best negotiators always ensure they win while at the same time giving the other side what they want.

In a win-win negotiation both parties achieve what they desire and are profitable. In win-lose negotiations, the loser feels demoralized and dejected. If the loser is ever asked whether they will do another deal with that person they will scream “NO!” and avoid them like the plague.

How can you avoid this?

Understand that there is abundance for everyone. There is no limited money supply. There is no limited amount of happiness, love, food etc.

The limited-pie theory is an assumption people have that the pie is only big enough for themselves.

The pie is big enough for everyone.

Whatever your favourite pie may be, there is always enough for everyone.

Don’t assume they want the same thing as you.

Go the extra mile and find out what the other person really wants. No one is the same. Everyone desires different things.

Rule #5 Separate People From the Problem

When negotiating to manifest money, focus on the facts at hand, not the person’s personality. When buying a car,  you would not make your decision based off emotions right? (Hopefully not!) You would base your decision off of the features you are getting for the price. (Among other factors) You would not simply buy the car because you are feeling excited that particular day.

The same applies to negotiating.

Always view the situation without emotions and put yourself in the other person’s perspectives.

This way you can figure out how the situation looks from both perspectives. This will give you more power and have a clearer view of the negotiation.

Rule #6 Look for Motivations

Regarding negotiations, you always have motivation(s) to achieve what you want. Your top motivators could be: the price, the due date, the terms, the benefits of how it will aid you in your journey to manifest your desires.

The key to successful negotiations is to figure out what the other person’s motivators are. By doing this you can avoid a stalemate situation and fulfill their desires without jeopardizing your own.

Avoid stalemates by finding out their motivators.

Use their motivators to your advantage. This is valuable information which you can use to look for areas where you can make compromises.

Fox example, give in on positions that are important to the other person but not important to you.

I.e. You may not be concerned about the date the person wants to have the money, but you desire a break on the price. In this situation the speed in which the deal is completed is important for the other person, not the price. This would be an example of a win-win deal because you could work to complete the deal quickly, while getting a discount.

Ask thought provoking questions  and listen carefully to their answers to determine their motivators.

Manifest Money Tip: Take notes while listening to the other person’s answers. This is a powerful listening strategy that makes the other person feel important. Then read the notes back to the person by saying, “This is what I heard you say where your biggest concerns…”

By taking notes on the buyers motivators and making reasonable compromises for both parties, you will establish an air of cooperation.

You will have thus established a situation where the other person feels obligated to give in on concerns that are important to you.

Rule #7 Reach An Agreement

Manifest Money Tip: Use the question “Do you agree?” continually for it is an extremely powerful tool you can use.

Use it frequently to encourage the other person to say “yes!”

Picture the negotiation like a scale.

By getting the other person to say “yes!” and come to agreements on small points, it is like placing small weights on a balance scale. Slowly the scale will begin to tip in your favor so you can get what you desire, while still allowing the other party to get what they want.

Rule #8 Ignore the Pressure

Rookie and unskilled negotiators will use pressure to manipulate you into making a quick, rash decision.

They will use lines like, “We have another buyer interested in completing the deal tomorrow,” or “This is a one time deal, it only lasts today and tomorrow.”

Ignore these pressure tactics.

When negotiating to manifest your desires, only use logical reasoning to reach decisions.

Responding to pressure tactics will only set you up for more further down the road.

If the other person tries to apply pressure on you, ask to state the reasoning behind his or her reason or be ready to call their bluff. (See Rule #9)

Rule 9: Always be Willing to Walk Away

This simple rule gives the person the ultimate power in any negotiation.

If the negotiation does not bring you closer to manifesting wealth and to manifest your desires, be willing to walk away.

Always agree or complete your negotiations based on whether they will bring you closer to achieving your goals.

Remember there is always an abundance of good deals. There is no limit to the pie, so don’t buy in a panic.

When you do walk away which will happen at some point. Leave the relationship on a positive note. Leave the door open for further negotiation if the other person changes their mind.

Simply say something like, “I am sorry, but I can’t accept these terms. However, I would really like to do business with you. If you come up with another way we can do this deal, please let me know. Call me.”

By doing this you have made the other person aware it doesn’t matter if you close the deal or not. Ultimately transferring more power into your hands to manifest money.

Walk away if you have to. There are good deals everywhere, always.
