1. Make sure to shake the paints thoroughly before use, as the glowing pigments may settle to the bottom of the container.
2. We recommend using a white primer undercoat with at least two (or more) layers of the luminous paint to achieve the desired effect.
3. For a fast and intensive charge, use a bright, direct light source; we highly recommend black light UV-tubes or energy saving black light bulbs for the brightest, most intense glow effect.
4. For outdoor use, we also recommend a white primer undercoat, as well as a clear finishing topcoat.

I like the texture & density of the pigment in these paints. Good materials & coats very well. Can even be spread extra thickly & sanded afterwards. I posted a review earlier that these didn’t glow, well, in the dark. I discovered that they do, but you have to charge them properly. A quality, UV light is the way to go. Interestingly enough, the material “charges” better dry than wet. To get the entire surface, being covered to glow, it requires several coats & a thick layer or it will leave spaces that don’t glow. The glowing pigments are small particles in the paint. YOU MUST BE CERTAIN TO MIX IT COMPLETELY, to distribute the glowing particles throughout the paint. They are heavy & will settle to the bottom, even if you are painting from a pallet or surface the material has been transferred to, from the jar, it must, be keep it fully mixed if you want the glowing effect, on the surface you are painting. Stirring is best. Shaking won’t do the job & also fills the paint with bubbles. The best way to get the phosphorus, glowing particles onto the surface you are painting, is to dip your brush directly into the jar after mixing it. I believe, I made the mistake of painting from the lid & there were very few of the particles there. It’s excellent paint & will cover well if you allow it to dry between coats. It’s a versatile paint, with a very high volume of pigments, to provide a nice dense color when finished drying. Good stuff!!

I will say a lot smaller than I thought but that’s also my fault foe not checking sizing . Very cool cooler in the black like which is what I needed them for . Although darker blue && purple aren’t as vibrant as the rest they still glow && do them justice! On that note I’m pretty happy with this purchase. Just wish it would have been a little bigger but will work for what I bought them for .

Used this item for a Kids camp glow party, on both black and white shirt, and love the way they light up!! These paints are UV light activated, they are not glow in the dark (or charged by light then retain and emit glow) paints. You have to have a continuous UV light source for them to glow. Some reviews mention that “I put them in the sun for hours but no glow”, that is not how UV paint works. These are bright and amazing of both light and dark backgrounds, the more layers applied obviously the brighter they glow in UV light (not sun light UV rays, a UV light bulb!). I have not washed them yet, so I am not sure how well they stay on afterwards, but if you are looking for a fun and super bright (at least one time) party effect, these are awesome!! Again, they may make it through the washer, but I can’t testify to that as of yet. We used IV light while painting the shirts to help see how it is looking as in normal light the colors appear a lot more sheer, especially on the dark material, and because it was also a lot of fun for my daughter and I. Definitely worth the money!!

I read some reviews that said that it doesnt glow, however it was the opposite. This paint was beautiful and it glowed very well and brightly.I painted it on my body and my bikini top it was a 10/10 i wasnt expecting it to be this good but it was amazing.
