I read the few negative reviews and was concerned that the center pin wouldn’t come out easily for use with hinge pin door stops. Some other people said the hinges squeaked or, didn’t allow easy closure of the door. Well, I had none of these issues. They work great for me.

We decided to change all of our hinges to matte black and I was a little skeptical about getting an 18-pack so cheaply compared to Lowes or Home Depot, but these hinges worked perfectly, fit perfectly, and most importantly they open and close to easily. Highly recommend if you are looking for bulk purchase and don’t want to spend $10+ at the hardware store to get a 3-pack

These are nice hinges, every bit as solid as a name brand you would buy at a big box store at a fraction of the cost. I’ve been working on changing all the hinges in my house to black ones instead of having a mix of brushed stainless and gold. These are working perfect for me at an economical price point.

I read the reviews and was hesitant to buy. They are way better than expected. If original batches were bad, they have fixed all of the issues. They are quite, the screws are black, the finish is great. These lived up to the Amazon Basics expectations. No Regrets. The screws are on the small size, but are the same as what was factory installed in the home. If you need to tighten the holes in your wall, start with clipping toothpicks 1/2″ long. If you need more use wooden skewers. If your walls are completely worn, you may need golf tee’s and wood glue (dry before install). For the people that said the door would not close, they need to trim out some paint so they sit flush. One photo, I saw someone installed the brackets inside out. You cant fix stupid.

Bought these to replace 27 yr old shiny brass (and sloppy paint-covered) hinges from when the house was built. These are easy to install (start with the middle hinge first). Check the door operation after each one though. Doors can be finicky. But these worked well. Makes for a very clean look now along with new handles we purchased.

i love that these are low cost, but totally look high end and make the doorways looked polished. we replaced shiny, gold, scratched hinges with the matte black and I couldn’t be happier. i’m also a completely useless person but installed these myself on 7 doors. so that’s how easy they are.

It’s a crap shoot, ordering this stuff from China, whether it’s from Amazon, Lowe’s, Wayfair, etc. Usually it’s crap quality. Luck was on my side and the batch I got were perfect.
