I can’t normally wear perfumes. Allergic to something in them but this is gentle enough, I can wear with no issue. Love this scent. Perfect for the transfer from summer into fall. Will be buying more.

Well, I can’t say enough about this sent oh my gosh I am in love, it smells so wonderful and lasts so long, and oh my gosh I have gotten so many compliments by strangers in the store and it’s such a wonderful smell that it feels like I am wearing summer somehow lol, even when it’s raining at the coast here! Love this scent! Buy it!!!! Oh and even better price wasn’t that bad and the bottle was huge way bigger than I was expecting so obvious bonus

Out of all the fragrances I have purchased, this one is by far the closest fit to the description. There is no slight alcohol scent, lasts very long, and is for those who love sweet and warm type fragrances. Definitely not what I was expecting and is worth all the hype it’s been getting???

I saw so many mixed reviews for the different scents of this. Here’s my take.PROS:–No alcohol smell. I would spray & then wait a moment to let the fragrance settle.–Not overpowering but you have to go light on the sprays. 1 or 2 sprays is more than plenty for me.–I can smell the caramelized vanilla and tonka bean right away. The coconut is muted but blends in more when the fragrance settles. I think that anyone who normally wears things like Muse (Narciso Rodriguez), Viva la Juicy (Juicy Couture), or anything floral with spicy and powdery undernotes might like this scent.– The scent doesn’t last long on my older-aged and dry skin but does last well on undergarments that are close to and warmed by my skin. Also, it lasts on bedsheets – probably because my body heat warms the fragrance. Make sure to let the scent “dry down” before you judge it. That’s when the real fragrance (and the one that people will smell) comes out for you. Look at the detailed info for the top, middle, and dry notes. They are spot-on for this ’71 scent.–The bottle is larger than I thought it was going to be. The part holding the liquid is about 4 inches long and not quite an inch in diameter at the bottom.– One or 2 sprays of this is more than enough for me. Especially when sprayed on my undergarments.– The price is up there for a body spray but, for me, I only care that it lasts and smells good. This is worth it for that alone. Who cares what format a scent is in? As long as you personally like it and it works for you.CONS:– Not really a negative for me but the price might put you off if this does not last. Again, it lasts better for me on undergarments and my bedsheets. Of course, I’d be able to try some of the other scents if the price were more reasonable but the “No returns” is a deal-breaker. I lucked out in choosing this one to try first!– On some skin types & with certain body chemistry, this could smell too “food-like” for some folks. On me, the notes play more like a body fragrance and not a candle. It just depends so much on individual skin types.Overall, I am glad I got this one. Because of the price and the non-returnable issue, I advise anyone to think first about the top, middle & dry notes as compared to other perfumes they like before choosing one of these. Also, try moisturizing/hydrating your skin well with water and a non-scented lotion or oil BEFORE using this. That helps me with my 60-year-old dry skin type LOL.I sure wish I could find samples of the other scents before spending 20+ bucks to try a full bottle.

this is a great body must for people who do good with sweet and warm scents. it lasts longer than most body mists but doesn’t last like a good quality perfume. i think the price is a little much but i still like the product a lot!

Sol de Janeiro is everything it has been hyped up to be. I have received so many compliments when I wear this. I do wear it layered with the bum bum cream. The only drawback is the longevity of the spray. I do reapply it throughout the day. I purchased the Brazilian Crush, which smells like salted caramel, almond, and pistachio. It reminds me of a day at the beach! I LOVE it!

I bought this scent without smelling it because of the reviews and it did not disappoint! I have gotten so many compliments and it lasts all day. Definitely a warmer scent, which is what I was going for. Would definitely recommend it!

I bought this after seeing a woman on TikTok say “buy this if you want people to tell you that you smell good”. She was not kidding. This first time I wore it out (to the grocery store), a woman stopped me & asked me for the name of the fragrance I was wearing because she said it smelled so good. So yeah…Buy it if you want to smell good.
