After paying almost $20 to get the battery replaced on my quartz watch, I decided that this is getting expensive every 8 or 9 months. Then I remembered self wind technology has been around a long time and is reliable. Looked on Amazon under self winding watches and found many to choose from. Fossil does a nice job on this watch, water resistant, sapphire crystal, no corners cut here. I love the fact that you can see the movement from the front and the back. In my mind one of the best looking watches out there and with many of the competitors charging several hundred dollars, it was an easy decision to make the move and buy it. Quality, very good price, very accurate, very good looking, this watch will pay for itself in 4 years and I never need to stand at a jewelry store counter again waiting behind others for an hour to get my watch battery changed. Amazon had it on a special price at the time, made it even more attentive.

Very nice and clean looking watch. The leather band looks good but the first tail strap is fixed and too close to the buckle, so it makes it a bit hard to slide in or out.
