    I love this backdrop because it is exactly what *I* needed for my studio. However, if you need something very sturdy, I would try a different one because it is very shakey/top heavy and lightweight. I don’t need to move it, ever, and don’t need to change paper often so it works and for that 5 stars. But I would give a 3.5 for sturdiness.

    I purchased this backdrop to use at a baby shower at an indoor venue. The unit is reasonably strong and very easy to set up and take down and has a carry bag included. I didn’t end up using all four bars to get the maximum width, only 3 of them for about 7ish feet wide.Once you connect the width bars and use the wing nuts to secure the horizontal bar, you can then use the vertical bars’ adjusters to set the height. It is very workable for one person to set up and only takes a few minutes. The component pieces are also very light and easy to transport. Would I use this to do outdoor shoots? Probably not because it’s on the lighter side, but it did come with sand bags that I haven’t used yet. But for a static indoor location, it is completely reliable and does its job well.The only “problem” I had was one of the plastic filler pieces for the one side fell out before setup was complete and I found it on the floor after I had completed setup. While it didn’t really affect anything, I’d prefer the pieces to stay in place so that the stand’s feet don’t potentially scratch a floor during backdrop setup/positioning.I would definitely but this backdrop again and I wonder why I hadn’t purchased one sooner just to have around for use when the opportunity arose.

    Easy to assemble, lightweight, durable, easily adjusts to several heights and widths. Perfect for photography backdrops. The lightweight-ness of it will require you to use the sandbags every time it’s standing.
