This product was recommended by my optical surgeon when he discovered slight macular degeneration. It has not progressed in the three years that I’ve used this product.

When my doctor diagnosed me with macular degeneration he told me that I would need to take these vitamins for the rest of my life. I don’t have any stomach problems from them so that may mean they are absorbing well but I can’t speak to that. I put them in the back of my throat and swallow them and do not taste any flavor.

These were prescribed by my eye doctor because I’ve developed macular degeneration. I believe they are helping besides the treatments. The degeneration is on hold for the time being

My doctor recommended that I take the AREDS2 eye vitamins. I’m 73 years old and have the beginning signs of age related macular degeneration, my mother totally lost her eye sight to this disease and my grandmother also had it. I will do whatever it takes to retain my eyesight.I ordered the wrong thing last time AREDS and they were large orange tablets and I had to take 2 tablets twice a day hard to swallow!These gel caps are great 1 cap twice a day and easy to swallow. And very fast delivery!

Product was easy to swallow and had no taste. I would suggest that FedEx not be your shipper. It has been my experience that they are the least reliable for delivery estimates. Original estimate was delivery on 10th or 11th. It was delivered on 12th afternoon. Not uncommon for FedEx. Delivery was placed in the sun, out of sight from the street. Product delivered in Phoenix area. There was shade elsewhere on the porch that would have been acceptably secure. I took product inside before driver pulled away. Product was very warm and squishyer than normal. Hope that is okay.
