When Elizabeth Taylor was first married to Richard Burton, she used to take her husband to department stores and buy him Eau De Toilette Spray. She loved the smell and would use it as a personal wash-offr to keep her clothes smelling good. On their honeymoon in Tahiti, she decided to try the spray on herself and loved it so much that she kept it with her wherever she went.

Very giftable so I gifted it to myself! It’s got a little tag on it so kids could give it to Mom, Auntie, or big sis. So for all the dads wanting to help the little ones choose a gift for the special woman of the house…I always like these slim and smaller-sized sprays for slipping into my purse.White Diamonds is one of those “grown-up” scents that doesn’t have any “old lady” qualities. It makes you smell like a woman who owns good shoes, well-made purses, and well-made clothing. But you can wear it with jeans and a hoodie – as I love to.I have worn White Diamonds off and on for a few years & this bottle I got smells and wears authentic. It’s got that nice, clean, frosty-floral scent of perfume for adults. Depending on your body chemistry, this is probably best suited for nighttime wear. I can wear it during the day because all the sharp smell calms down quickly on me. I only have to let those settle for about 10 minutes before I get the lasting scent of floral-powder-amber notes. I never get any of the citrus or wood scents that this is said to have. (I LIVE by the info on fragrantica for choosing my scents!)I normally go for scents really heavy on amber and powder notes so I don’t know why this smells so good on me. I get compliments when I wear it. I do sometimes layer in a tiny bit of musk or amber fragrance.Also, this seems to be one of those perfumes that wear better for people on whom fragrances tend NOT to last long. It must be something in the formula. There are only a few perfumes that last on my skin for longer than half an hour while still projecting past the strength of a “skin scent”. If I spritz even a little bit of this on my clothing, I will have to wash them to totally get rid of the fragrance.Note that this is one of those perfumes where very little goes quite a long way.

First, i appreciate all the review that previous buyers left that is very helpful to me.Love all the details you guys left on review.i am so impress the fragrant and logivity of this perfume.i hand wash my clothes sometimes, after my clothes dried up, i could still catch the perfume on my clothes.if you dont wash it away, it could last 3 days plus.the scent smell very hmm how do i describe, i would use the word “classic” (i need to borrow one of buyer’s description) but could not find other way to describe it.hope this is helping other buyers.Personally, i like this perfume more than my other collections.

This review is for Elizabeth Taylor White Diamonds En Rouge. I strongly dislike the original White Diamonds. En Rouge is a COMPLETELY different perfume which thankfully for me does not resemble White Diamonds in the slightest. Elizabeth Taylor’s line of White Diamonds scents contains many “flankers,” like the heavenly Diamonds and Rubies, Sparkling White Diamonds, White Diamonds Lustre, etc. It’s just the way they chose to structure and name the line. En Rouge is a perfume with a strong raspberry note. It’s an absolutely beautiful perfume, masterfully blended, which has strength, nearly indecent longevity, and sillage that hands down beats most current perfumes, including the niche perfumes that cost in the hundreds of dollars. It’s simply amazing. The perfume it most resembles to me is the original Givenchy Hot Couture, which I loved but has been reformulated and is a shadow of its former self. White Diamonds En Rouge is stunning, elegant, and refined. I have ordered a backup bottle while it’s still an incredible bargain. Like the beautiful Elizabeth Taylor Black Pearls, I fully expect the price of En Rouge to increase to be more in line with the quality of it. I plan to drench myself in it. Mad love.
