We use it on super dry areas and over other skincare products to supercharge them. No allergy issues at our house, the lanolin in this product is ok for us. Will buy again, love the tube as it is more sanitary than dipping fingers into a tub. Recommend for those looking for a thick occlusive who tolerate lanolin ingredients. It spreads more easily as it warms on the skin, very thick paste coming out of the tube. We warm it on the hands before applying to other areas, and expect a greasy effect until it absorbs.
