I wear running shoes as casual and walking shoes during the non winter months. After wearing Adidas Ultraboosts for several years , I noticed that the Ultraboost 21s , although as comfortable as previous models , caused my feet to swell after wearing all day. The Brooks Ghost 13s and now 14s are every bit as comfortable as the ultraboosts , but don’t cause my feet to swell. They , also as a bonus, provide more room in the toe box than the ultraboosts.

I normally wear a 9D & got a 9.5D based on reviews. I wear these with orthotics. Comfortable ride due to cushioning designed into the shoe. Foot sits nicely in the center of the shoe. Heel is well supported and does not slip. Heel cushion works well for me & front sole has a fair amount of rebound & flexibility. Toe box is roomy for me. My first Brooks shoes and I’m happy with them.

I am a wogger, mostly walk with some jogging. I have worn Brooks Adrenaline for many years but decided to try the Ghost model. I am not disappointed, these shoes are as comfortable, durable and as well designed as the Adrenaline. Brooks knows how to design a 4E width shoe. I like them so much that I bought a second pair since this current model will not be available, or hard to get, a year from now. I have worn other brands over the years, but Brooks are the clear leader especially for my wide feet. Thanks!

I’ve been buying Brooks sneakers for my son for several years and he absolutely loves them. He is six foot four and is on the track team, he’s built like a football player and throws shot. The sneakers protect his feet when he goes on runs with the rest of the track team. They have the Perfect amount of cushion and flex he says.

First time buying Brooks shoes and am very impressed with the cushioning in these shoes compared to my previous Asics Gel Venture 5 shoes. The extra wides Ghosts are cut generously throughout the toe box, and the material seems to be of high quality. We’ll have to see how well the shoes hold up, but for right now they seem to be very good shoes.

This is my first pair of Brooks running shoes, but I’m not a runner but rather do 3+ mile daily power walks, so need similar support I believe. Over the years I’ve used several of the top brands and over time and with their constant changes to models, I had to move from brand to brand. Hopefully I’ll be able to stay with Brooks for a long while since the Ghost 14 is the best overall running shoe I’ve owned in many, many years.There is little I can find to fault. First, they are very lightweight at just 13.02 oz per shoe and that is after adding Sof Sole Insoles, because for me at least, NOBODY makes even a marginally acceptable insole. And Brooks is no exception. At this weight, I was concerned they would not provide adequate support, but they are really well designed and definitely do. I land on my heel more and there is great cushioning in the heel and in fact they actually have spring action to them. They also transfer the shock very effectively so there is no stress on my ankles or other part of the foot. The arch is fairly neutral and there is good cushioning in the toe joint area as well. And the huge plus is that the toe box is sufficiently wide so that my toes are never cramped, and this is huge. Many shoes seem to slim that area down too much for me.I wear a 12 D and I bought the 12 standard and they fit perfectly. I’m not a shoe engineer, but it seems Brooks placed the design emphasis on the most important areas and that is the shoe bottom, tread and cushioning. They are not designed for lateral support, but I’ve never had any issues when I step off pavement or trail onto grass or other surfaces as I sometimes have with other shoes.And there is certainly no shortage of colors with the Ghost. Overall a great shoe, and if it lasts 350-400 miles, I’ll be happier still. I highly recommend.

Bought these shoes after reading the reviews on Amazon and Runners World magazine. These are really comfortable shoes with great cushioning and quite light. Significantly better than the running shoes I was using earlier. These shoes helped improve both my range and speed. Highly recommend

I’ve been wearing Brooks running shoes for some time with an occasional NB and ASICS thrown in. These are far and away the most comfortable running shoes that I’ve had in quite some time. One note, I’m not a runner so I can’t rate the capability of these shoes for running. However, I do a fair amount of walking and I also wear these shoes as my everyday shoe and I love them.

I have been using Brooks Addictions for as long as I’ve been running, as my feet are wide and flat. Due to my circumstances, I was forced to buy these instead. I won’t say they’re better than the addictions, but they are great. They are comfortable and support my wide, flat feet for 20+ mile runs. I will definitely continue buying them.

Just bought 2 more pairs. Now have 3, as the original pair was seeing some miles on it, mostly all from walking. Before I got the first pair late last year, was having hip and knee pain from all the walking done in crummy shoes. Found the Ghost 14, bam, nearly all the knee and hip issues are gone. These things fit great, they’re comfortable and the support is very good. Love them
