Frigidaire FGGC3047QS Gallery is a 30″ slide-in gas range with an 18,000 BTU four-burner cooktop and convection oven with True Convection technology. This model features a sleek black porcelain front and a high-performance burner system that delivers up to 50,000 BTUs of power in every cooktop burner.
After installing the stove, I had some concerns about the heat of the burners. I could not get the burners, especially the smallest one, low enough to simmer.I contacted Frigidaire for help. At no cost, they sent a technician to check it out. He then pointed to the manual where it describes how to adjust the flame. He took off the knobs, pulled out a red cap, and used a thin flathead screwdriver down the shaft to lower the flame. I had him do all four side burners and left the middle one as is.What a difference. It’s still hot when needed and now summers.Great stove. Lesson learned. Read the manual.

It is almost half the price of several others, but not half the quality. The construction materials are thin, so you have to be careful during install, but it appears solid once installed and supported by the granite. The knobs aren’t too close to the pots, but the 30 inch gets crowded when we have 3 pots/skillets going (infrequent). The burners seem well designed and are the sturdiest feature. There is plenty of heat thats reaches the pots effectively. I highly recommend if you are looking for value.A couple issues that you have to live with. The grates have a couple weak points. The first one i ordered came in with a broken grate, in the corner, like reviewer pictures. I returned the entire stove for an immediate credit. I shopped and shopped, again, and still ordered the same model again. So, we’re just gonna be careful with these grates. Cheesy little rubber feet under those corners that i will have to replace with felt when they come off. And there are a couple burn stains forming near the burners, but i only see then when i am cleaning. Again, thin materials, and i bet its the same on all of them.
We needed to replace our cheap stovetop that came with our new house. This new one by Fridgedaire is well made, durable and the grates are heavy duty as well. Burners turn on quick and immediately. No waiting for them to light up. Center burner can boil a pot of water fast
We are pleased with this cooktop. It is easy to clean and heats very well. Some reviewers have mentioned plastic knobs breaking. It is important to know that this cooktop is offered in three models: Frigidaire, Frigidaire Gallery, and Frigidaire Professional. The basic Frigidaire does have plastic knob shafts. We purchased the Gallery model. The Gallery and Professional models have metal knob shafts and are very sturdy. It is well worth the price difference to upgrade to the Gallery. We found the differences between the Gallery and the Professional to be so small that it was not worth an upgrade to the highest model. It is important to take care when lifting the grates so as not to scratch the stainless steel. Use two hands and lift straight up.We had never before considered buying an appliance through Amazon. Finding one to look at in a store was helpful to us.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received this stove !! First thing I checked for was the knobs coz I had a great fear that I’d have to deal with the pain of replacing plastic shafts/knobs that are usually on Frigidaire stoves . I had a builder grade Frigidaire stove prior to this purchase &that stove caused me alot of pain !!! Knobs would melt and what’s split but not this one !!Keep in the stove I’m reviewing now is a Frigidaire gallery 5 burner as pictured .These knob shafts are metal ,screwed in and oh what a relief!!I’m so so happy ! I also enjoy the 5 burners and ability to use middle burner as grill plate .Overall satisfied.
10 stars, After I have done extensive research at home improvement stores and online, I decided to purchase this cooktop unit. This is the first major appliance that I did purchase off of Amazon. the packaging came in great when it was delivered and it was the exact measurements of this cooktop were perfect to slide right into my cut out on the granite countertop. Hooked everything up according to the directions and works like a charm. the seller and the product are great!!!

I got this Frigidaire cooktop to replace the Whirlpool 4-burner installed by our builder over 19 years ago. The old one was a black glasstop unit, and frankly I was tired of it and wanted a 5-burner. I shopped all over and found everyone was out of stock and backordered, so I was surprised to find it iton Amazon! Not only that, but it was significantly cheaper than at the big box stores and appliance stores in my area, so it was a win-win.I chose to install it myself. Installation involves only two connections, gas and electricity, and the electrical connection in most cases is just a standard 120v plug. the gas will involve some wrenches of the right sizes, and may entail some fittings to complete the connection. Most gas connections these days are pretty standard, so you should be able to use the ones on the old unit you’re replacing. Just be sure to use pipe dope or similar sealant on the gas connections, and test them thoroughly with soapy water after hook-up.Performance is excellent, and the BTU output of the burners is better than the old one, so I’m happy. The grates are heavy-duty and continuous across the top of the cooktop, making it easy to move pots and pans around with no snags. Nice. The only negative I have is that the burner control knobs are plastic and are shiny like chrome, while the rest of the cooktop is a brushed stainless finish. but I will say that more expensive big-name units I looked at also use similar shiny knobs.I like my new cooktop, and will be replacing my oven and microwave shortly with use matching Frigidaire products. 5 stars.

My husband and I really wanted this 5-burner gas cooktop, and couldn’t find one at Lowe’s or Best Buy, so we took our chances and ordered one online. As we needed to relocate the gas line, we had to hire a plumber to install said cooktop. After the plumber ensured that gas reached all 5-eyes, we started using our new cooktop and have really enjoyed it.
