Let me start off by saying I overplucked my eyebrows for years after being made fun of for my bushy eyebrows in middle school. Funny how NOW thick eyebrows are “in” ? I also have a thyroid condition that makes it really hard for me to grow them in. So I have sparcy brows and I’ve just accepted that. Maybe one day I’ll microblade but I’m terrified of them looking too fake, or too edgy.Anyway, I LOVE NYX brow pencils. I searched high and low and have gone through so many different products. Powders, gels, tints, pencils and finally one day I decided to try the tapered NYX pencil and fell in love. I actually bought this one by mistake but it is even more amazing, especially if you’re like me and have sparse eyebrows and just want to fill them in a bit. I also recommend a clear brow gel to set them afterwards so what hair you do have doesn’t lay funny. Otherwise I feel super confident in this product and will definitely be buying more.

I love this pencil. I have thick, dark brows and I go through them frequently. I loved Anastasia’s brow whiz, but wanted to find something less expensive. After reading the reviews, I tried it. I just bought two more pencils. It lasts all day and doesn’t smudge even when playing tennis outside in the 90 degree heat. This is a great find.
