The Texas Instruments TI-30XIIS Scientific Calculator is a great device for students of all levels. The calculator is designed in such a way that it will help the user learn and master their formulas. This calculator operates on a solar-powered battery, so it is not necessary to plug in the device when the batteries run out of power. If the battery is low on power, the user can utilize the light sensors to provide power to the calculator. The TI-30XIIS has a 320×240 pixel display which makes it easy for the user to view their information and numbers. It also has a natural textbook display feature that allows the user to view the calculator screen from multiple angles. The device features eight different types of memory storage: one for statistics, three for calculus, and four for algebra. With this calculator, it is much easier for users to work on problems and assignments using graphs. Furthermore, the device is equipped with an up arrow key that can be used to scroll through previous results without having to hit the enter button.

This calculator comes with an easy to follow guide for those complicated equations. Words and symbols are a good size so you’re not using a magnifying glass just to see them.

Lots of reviews referenced calc did not come with cover but it does include a hard slide cover that slides on on front when not in use and protects calc when in book bag.

This type of calculator was on my son’s 6th grade school Supply list. I was happy to see that Amazon had it for a very good price in a variety of colors. My kiddos is not so mad about math because of his Sonic blue calculator.
