    We just got ours up and running. We had some issues with the software on set up and the volume on the speaker is low. Otherwise it’s great clear pics, zone motion detection, easy set up.with no wires or hubs just a smart phone app. We got 1 to check out but plan to add more. Great buy

    Set up three Pro 4 spotlight cams around the house and while I am still getting to know the system, setup was easy and cameras are working well. I was worried because we live in an area with limited internet, however our cameras seem to be working well.

    We’ve had it for a few weeks now and we’ve had no issues. Battery was at 40% when we installed and its at 31%. Motion sensor works great, pictures look good and you can zoom in if you chose. Easy to turn off when the kids are playing in the driveway. Hasn’t disconnected from our router or lost wifi. So far so good.

    I’ve had the gen 1 Arlo Pros for years. I upgraded to a pair of the Arlo Pro 4s along with solar chargers and have been very pleased with the upgrade.Both cameras have fantastic picture quality and a very wide angle of coverage. They both allow for notification zones which limits false alerts in my higher traffic areas. Night vision is much better than the original Arlo Pro — especially with the included spotlight.Overall, I highly recommend this camera.

    I bought this camera for an outdoor area after good experience with an older wired unit. I was dubious about battery life, but there was no possibility of providing power to the location. The Internet signal is part of an extensive mesh network (Open Mesh) on a large rural property. Installation proceeded exactly as specified without any problem. I did not experience any of the issues described by some reviewers. Picture quality is as good as can be expected from a small camera like this. Night vision was marginal due to the large space, but was adequate for my purposes. Motion detection is excellent, and the ability to define detection areas was well executed. I was expecting the requirement to subscribe to the cloud service, and I think the price is reasonable for the functionality provided. I find the app easy to use, and it integrates well with my other cameras and systems, except for Samsung Smart Things…that works, but the native app is much better. i have been pleasantly surprised by the battery life. I just returned from an extended overseas trip, and the camera is still working fine after a month, with 73% power remaining. It was easy to access from multiple foreign countries, and provided reliable and accurate alerts. One thing to be aware of…a sudden change in lighting, such as a timed light, a motion detecting light, or a nearby lightning strike will trigger the motion detection, even when there is no actual motion. Overall, I found this device to be accurately represented, with good build quality, and good value for the price.

    Had another security camera with motion detection but, by the time motion was detected, all you’d see was the delivery guy walking away. Arlo is almost instantaneous. To place cameras farther away from your wifi router, get a extender.

    Upgraded my old arlo cameras. Resolution is great and their presence deters any more people snooping around. Make sure there are not any branches or housing trim in view of the camera or the night vision won’t really work on farther distances like the area you’re actually trying to monitor

    I recently purchased 2 of these, an upgrade from older models that had stopped working. I was pleased to find out that my old base station works with these new ones. The new cameras have a much better design for charging and removing the battery. Happy!

    I am happy with these cameras. very easy install,good battery life and with solar panel the outside camera stays on 100% charge. the picture quality is very good and I especially like the 160 degree field of vision
