I might be a nerd, but I love this watch. I have owned about 5 of them over the last 20 years. Okay, it has many features which your phone probably has, but you don’t carry you phone around on your wrist. I regularly use the stopwatch to time things as it is available to look at without having to pull out my phone when I want to know how much time has elapsed. I travel regularly so I use the dual time when I am in another time zone. I don’t use the alarm clock except when I want a backup, but it is there if I need it. It says it is only “waterproof”, but I have had this same watch for over 20 years, and I have never had to replace it because of water damage. I swim in it, but I have never used it for scuba diving. Normal swimming is fine. I have never worn it in the shower either, so I don’t know how it will do with hot water and soap, but let’s be real take it off to shower. The only two drawbacks I have are there is no night light which would be awesome, and the wrist band wares out before the watch. When you can buy a new wrist band for $12 or a brand-new watch for $20 what would you do? I’m thinking after 3-4 years, I’ll just get a new watch. As you can probably tell, I love this watch.

Its great for the price… There is no light, I use it for boating and the water resistance is excellent so far. putting a different band on it was a pain in the arse due to it really wanting it’s basic plastic band.Other than that it’s great. My fat fingers have trouble using the tiny buttons, but that’s not the watches fault, right? The retro vibe is great though.. and get great comments, especially when I randomly ask people whether they need help ‘calculating’ things… 🙂 Buy it and enjoy if this is your thing…

so dumb. It’s a calculator watch. probably lighter and thinner than the ones from the 1980’s it’s modeled after, but that’s also what makes it tolerable and enjoyable to wear. Of course, the battery will last for a year or so, and after that, you’ll need to rely on the sun, unless you come across a fresh battery in the zombie apocalypse

I love this watch. I’m a woman and I serve. This is perfect to have to add up tips or figure out tip percentages at work. The only thing I wish is that it had the date and not just the day of the week. But I love this watch and I don’t think I could live without one now.

El reloj es pequeño y delicado, la calculadora funciona aunque es difícil operarla por el tamaño de los botones, no tiene luz. A pesar de todo es un diseño antiguo espectacular que vale la pena tener.

I didn’t buy it for the functionality. I bought it for the retro dork in me and the potential talking piece. Arrived as advertised, and everything works fine. 80’s look and feel. Calculator, stop watch, time, date, etc. Would purchase another. May actually buy another color.

I purchased the black watch to add to my Casio collection. It’s a fun little watch to wear. It takes me back to my nerdy high school days. I can read the display with ease. Yes, the buttons are small, but they are usable with a little bit of concentration or use pencil to push on it. Getting in and out of calculator mode is easy. The watch is a little bit smaller than I remember, but that makes no difference to me. It’s very light and comfortable. Setting the time/date was easy as well. My only minor gripe is that it doesn’t have a screen light. But for $20 I am not complaining!

I’ve been wearing this same type of watch for over the last 30 years or so and when this one dies I’ll buy another one. The thing lasts about 10 years before the batteries give out. When that happens, I just buy another watch. I tried replacing the batteries on the first one that died but that didn’t work for some reason so I just get another one of these. You’ll replace the band several times before you have to get a new watch. I’m keeping the velcro wrap band from my last Casio watch and I’ll just put it on this one once this band breaks and I know it will. The band that comes with the watch is cheap plastic. If this thing has a built in light, I’ve never seen it. I first bought this years ago because it has the built in calculator but I don’t even need that anymore because my cell phone has a larger calculator that’s easier to use. I’m just used to how this watch works and how to set it so I stick with it.

Though I often find myself wearing sunglasses or in low light conditions and am unable to read this watch it is immensely comfortable and a fantastic conversation piece!
