Every once in a while, I find a product where I honestly want to tell everyone I know about it. (This is not an endorsed post, I did not get free product, etc..). I wanted a GPS tracking solution for my adventure motorcycle. A high end motorcycle is an expensive thing that is easy to steal (bad combination!). My expectations on the product were pretty low. I expected a solid piece of hardware (check) and a crappy app, which made the whole thing painful to work with – like almost every hardware device that comes with a bundled app.And oh was I wrong. The app is incredible. Satellite view, multiple GPS trackers visible at the same time, all updating in real-time. Geo fences. Every type of hardware status (battery life, number of satellites connected, 4G signal strength…)But that’s not even the best part… you can obviously check the position of a tracker on the map (“ping it”), but you can also playback the entire location history – with time scrub function. It’s more like an aircraft black box than simple GPS tracker.I ordered 3 in my initial order (for 3 motorcycles). I immediately ordered 3 additional units… because the uses for these things are ENDLESS.If you are running off internal battery power (more on that later), you can use the magnet on the back to just slap the tracker on anything you want. Boat. ATV. Golf cart. Family cars. FBI suspects. Pelican cases full of expensive camera gear. (Honestly.. I could keep listing things for hours)Here’s one thing that wasn’t really clear to me when I was first researching this product: it has an internal lithium battery, and (depending on the mode, you can make that little battery last for months). If you want real-time tracking (5 seconds or 3 seconds between pings) the internal battery isn’t the best option. There is a “hardwire” adaptor that you can buy – and connect this unit into 12V supply somewhere on your vehicle. Because this hardwire aspect is always charging the lithium battery, you can even get away with putting it on a ‘switched’ accessory circuit (where it loses power when the ignition is cut). Because the unit just falls back on the lithium battery .. and continues working just fine. When ignition is restored, the battery is topped off again. Pretty cool!!If you want to be ultra conservative, you can plug directly into the 12V supply (the vehicle battery) and never worry about the unit “disappearing” from the map.Anyway, the existence of this adaptor isn’t obvious from the product listing. (Or, it wasn’t to me). If you dig around a little, you’ll find it: it’s battery terminal connections on one end, and screw-in USB on the other end. When you install it, you simply hook up this simple wire harness – and you’ll never need to dig into the install to recharge the battery. You literally have a permanent GPS tracker. No maintenance. (Dig around.. you’ll find the adaptor)In the end:1) The hardware is fantastic2) The software is FULL of features (and they work)3) With a bit of wiring, you can setup an incredible security solutionThe subscription options aren’t cheap .. but when you see how the software works, you’ll get it. It’s absolutely worth the money. This is very high end stuff.

I was having a car moved across the country by an auto transport company and while you might call me paranoid, I felt better to have “eyes” on it. I researched a bunch of solutions from AirTags to Tiles to old cell phones, but landed on the LandAirSea 54 Tracker. Honestly, I was pretty skeptical about the whole thing considering the very low price.I bought a unit and activated a month of service, and then tested it a bit for a few days. The GPS was incredibly precise and could even show me moving from one side of my house to the other. The app (on Android) was stable and did what it was supposed to do. I had a couple of questions about functionality and got great customer support from the manufacturer (they are based in Illinois).I sent the car on its journey with the unit in the glove box, tethered to a 2200mah external battery. As a data point, I got a better signal from the glove box than the center console. I had configured battery saver mode to send a signal once an hour to ensure no dead battery on the week-long journey. With the extra 2200mah attached, power was never an issue, in fact the unit’s battery meter was still full on arrival. Like clockwork, the location updated almost every hour, with only maybe 5% of calls not registering. All travel was on major interstates, so cell towers were likely abundant.Really blown away by how fantastic this product worked at the price.

Great buy. Worked as described. Magnetic applied to my bicycle which was mounted on my cars bike rack. Used the GPS device to give ne a little more theft protection. If the bike was stolen I’d have a good chance of finding with this GPS.Battery lasted for thr 5 days without issue. Did not need to recharge during use.Would definitely buy again.

  4. Yuseong

The only small issue for me is that the battery gets low in a matter of days, which is understandable since I have full tracking mode. And once the vehicle stops, it gives you the exact location. Sometimes it’ll give you a funky location while it’s in motion.

  5. PWBroward

This tracker is accurate…at least for me it is. My only drawback is that it’s big like a hockey puck but super strong magnet to place anywhere and love the options to put it on energy saver without having to take it off of where you have it stored.

  6. dvangaal

The product looks very well built. Great looking, seems to have a decent magnet. I was able to get the device setup pretty easily, and the app and the website are pretty intuitive.I did have one hiccup trying to set up the account. While trying selecting a plan and adding a card, the app kept giving me a strange “missing information” error and would not let me continue. I resolved this by logging in to the website and completed this part of the setup there. Now that its set up, both the app and the webpage go straight to the map, and show me exactly what I’m looking for without extra clicks.

I bought this device to place on a car and it is by yet the best one I have purchased, it’s small and magnetic so it’s easy to place in a hidden spot on the car, I charge it once a week and it’s good to go for the whole week. The app allows me to see all I need to see

  8. finaldraft151

Not to sound like a broken record, but I was a tad skeptical at the claims this company made as well as the reviews as I couldn’t see it being that simple and affordable. I just bought my 6th unit as these things have become the most valuable tools in my arsenal of asset recovery. Hands down. These are great and rest assured you will not be disappointed (well, with the product at least, however finding out the truth about a trusted person in your life may be an entirely different story) but I digress -Units are easy to install, easy to activate, easy to charge and the software is easy to navigate through. The tracking software uses google maps so if you have ever used google maps it will be very familiar. The dimensions are indicated but to put in perspective think a small lens cap (say for 55mm lens) or shrunken hockey puck for a visual. Sorry for the bad analogy but they do remind me of that of a shrunken hockey put, so much that we no simply refer to them as ‘pucks’ -Strong, durable, water proof with the charger port rubber seal put back in place and so far weather proof. The built in magnetic base is like that of a magnetic mount CB antenna base that you would use to stick on you car roof or trunk. Very strong and holds up to highway speeds and all the vibration a car is subject to on a commute (if it holds up on Los Angeles freeways and the poor roadway conditions it should be good to go anywhere in the 50/USA) – Just mount anywhere under the car where there is a flat and smooth metal surface where you can mount it in a spot that isn’t obvious but also a place where you can retrieve easily and quickly later on.That of course is me assuming everyone would be using these to track vehicle movements. Ideally you would want to place the unit inside the car in a hidden spot but since that is not always possible, under the car is the next best thing. There are a million uses for these and limited only by a person’s imagination. It will broadcast it’s location from wherever it is. Backpacks, purses, cars, coolers, any vehicles, large equipment, generators, pockets, packages, furniture, watercraft, if you can mount it on or include it in, it will go.I use them to combat cargo/package theft and they have paid for themselves within the first week. From residential to full scale industry, stick one in a package and let the thieves tell you their story, for once they take a box, the tracker tells you all about their day and also gives you their location. It’s great to knock on someone’s door and politely listen to the protests of guilty pillaging people and then show them the map data that shows their travels with your package has ended up at their place. As for using to catch a cheating partner. It will do that, quite well. However to echo the statements made by other reviewers, be forewarned that you may find out that everything you thought you knew was actually a ton of crap. I’ve seen people’s lives derailed by using these when they find out that their spouse of 15+ years who they never thought of as being anything but faithful was actually the opposite. Adding to this nightmare was the fact that the act was also being committed with a life long trusted friend. Can you handle a betrayal like that? I don’t know. I think there are some things that a person may not need to know but at the same time the truth needs to be exposed. Just something to think of.Monitoring or tracking service comes with several options. I believe it starts out at 24.95 per month for updates every 60 seconds. Next is a 30 second, and I believe there is one more option avail before the highest service which is constant update feed. That is the one that will eat the battery the most because the units are motion activated and start broadcasting when they sense movement. If you subscribe to a constant update service then the battery will die faster as the unit is constantly updating and broadcasting it’s location. The less you want or need it to update the longer the battery will last. I pay for the 30 second update so it gives me an update 2x a minute which is fine and when using on a vehicle the battery gives me almost a week or just over based upon 2 45 minute commutes on vehicle per day 5 days a week. Battery life is actually quite good but it’s life will depend on the duration and frequency of use + the subscription you choose. The unit doesn’t start using battery power until it senses movement so as that varies so will the life of the battery.PROS: See aboveCONS: You might have to do some crawling under a car to mount if you don’t have the option of placing in car. Might be unnerving to some folks. No alert if the unit were to fall off the car (never had that problem but if it did fall off or was REMOVED you wouldn’t know it until you went to retrieve it. Wish there was something to alert a user) – Subsription is for one unit only. No multi unit discount at this time. If you use 4 units you will pay for 4 different subscriptions. Another issue I wish they would consider. Especially when one might buy 2 units so they can alternate and switch out a unit with a freshly charged unit. You might only use one at a time but in order to keep up a constant tracking history you would need to have 2 units and you will be required to pay for 2 separate subscriptions. And finally, again a big con is finding out the truth to a big lie someone might be leading and living. The truth can and does hurt so that is something to consider before setting out to obtain it.

Bought this to keep an eye on some vehicles while I am away. So far great little tracker. Will update review once I use it a month. So far so good. Setup was easy, came with 70% charged battery and charged it up quickly using the usb cord that was provided. Hope I never have to use the tracking data one day, but for now great peace of mind for around $20 a month.

We put this little gadget in our Airstream. Works like a charm. Put it on ECCO mode to save battery life. I can now see on the App where my Airstream is located at all times. Gives me peace of mind that my Airstream can be found within minutes if stolen.
