COMMON Q & A
Q: Can’t turn on the power? The camera does not work. Indicator light not blinking?
A: Bulb cameras do not have batteries, you need to install them into the light socket and power up the socket. When you power it on, wait a minute, the bulb camera will rotate and self-test, indicating that it can work properly. Please be aware that the status light will not flash, this is normal.
Q: Won’t connect to the internet/wifi/network?
A: 1. Please ensure that the bulb camera can be powered on and self-tested properly.
2. Please install it close to the router, the camera requires a strong WiFi signal.
3. Please ensure that your WiFi information is entered correctly.
4. Please reset the bulb camera, it will take longer to set up the first time.
Q: Why can’t my phone receive alert notifications?
A: 1. Please make sure you have turned on the motion detection alert switch and set the appropriate alarm sensitivity.
2. Please make sure your phone system permissions allow our apps to perform message push.
3. Please confirm to open the message push settings in the App, open the App, click Me→ Message Center, click the button in the upper right, and enable notifications.
4. Alarm interval 1-3-5 minutes, which means only one alarm can sound during the period.
Q: Micro SD memory card requirements?
A: 1. Only FAT32 format is supported.
2. Maximum memory capacity: 128GB.
3. Micro SD memory card size: 1.5 x 1.1 cm.
4. Micro SD card not included.
Q: Display offline?
A: 1. Confirm whether there is a power failure from the router or network disconnection, if so, it takes a while for the router to restore the network, check again after 2 minutes if the device is back online.
2. Ensure the router has been replaced or the WiFi name, password, etc. have been modified, if so, the device needs to be removed and re-added.
3. Check whether the firmware is the latest version, App side check path: Home – click the device icon – click the top right button – check for updates.
4. If the device appears offline after using for a period of time, but after restarting the router or rewiring the device, the device is back to normal, it means that the router is overloaded due to long-term high load use, you need to replace a router with a stronger load capacity or reduce the number of devices connected to the router.
5. Remove the device from the app and then reset the bulb camera by inserting a long pin into the reset hole. Wait for the self-test to complete and then go to pair and connect the camera again.

I bought one of these in May and liked it so much I bought a second one in June. Shortly after I did start to have an issue with the first camera that went offline and then would not power back on and ended up having an issue with the second cameras light going on and off constantly as well. Although my return period was over the seller went above and beyond and offered to ship me 2 new cameras. The cameras work great for what we need. We have just over an acre of land and these cameras cover the entire area. The video and audio quality are very good even at night.

The camera was easy to install, But don’t tighten it into the light socket. I did and it broke apparently these are not as sturdy as a lightbulb. As for how it works, only during the day. Totally blind at night. Plus there’s an annoying light that continually turns on and off all night as it struggles to work.

I give the camera 5 stars, but the app you have to use only 3 stars.The camera is easy to set up and install. The pictures are very clear. I’ve put them in my front porch and garage light sockets. Much easier than the old Nest cameras I had. Much less expensive too.Since I had the dedicated Nest app prior, the Tuya app isn’t as user friendly. It is used for a multitude of products. The picture just shows one page of one example, electric. You basically have to use trial and error to set up for recorded use. I’m still working on it. I do like that you use your finger on the app picture to move the camera in 4 directions.

I have a lot more updated details to provide…fortunately for the positive!!The seller contacted me directly through Amazon messaging to address my concerns.1) The seller was extremely apologetic about the issues that I posted about the discrepancy between the manual and the online posting about what memory card is needed. To be clear…it is a MICRO SD card, not a regular SD card.2) The micro SD card should be 64 GB to 128 GB; either will work with this camera. The manual states 64GB, but the seller has stated that the camera will support up to 128 GB (which is what I am using)…and it works perfectly!3) The IR lens only shines for the first 2 seconds of the powering up sequence…not constantly. I was looking at the IR lens after those initial 2 seconds and did not see the stated light. It is there…you just have to look quickly after turning on the power.4) I am a US resident. I don’t know if that has any bearing on the following comments. I have installed multiple smart wifi light switches, power plugs, security cameras, etc. in our home. I have always scanned the QR code with my iPhone app scanning the QR code on the security device. I have never scanned using the security device to scan the QR code that was posted on my iPhone. That was my difference with this product. The QR code is literally on your iPhone (or Android), and you hold that phone QR code in front of the security camera…and the camera will then scan the code on your phone and set everything up immediately.It literally took me 3 seconds to go through the setup process once I understood that the security camera needed to scan the QR code on my phone, not the other way around.The seller has stated that they have posted an additional instructional video to help everyone with their installation. I appreciate all their efforts. I remain amazed at their reaching out to me personally via Amazon email. And I appreciate their efforts.My cameras were literally installed within minutes once I understood the process and realized I had read the instruction manual incorrectly…the cameras work great with wonderful clarity. I can highly recommend both the cameras and the support I have received from the seller.*********Original Post:I am frustrated beyond belief and hoping that the seller will see this review and give some helpful advice.1) The product description specifically stated micro SD card, which I bought only to discover that a standard SD card is what is needed. It could not be convenient for everyone having a bulb camera, but for other it could. I have not tested the recording yet because I did not get the micro SD. I will get one and update my review with that new information.

I bought the first one to try it out. It is better than a ring device to me based on the fact that you can more the camera in a 360 degree rotation. The night vision/infrared is excellent as well. So as the heading states
