I need a video camera for inside the house when we were gone, I needed it to plug in the wall for power and I needed it now. This one fit the bill so I ordered it.It arrived the next day. I plugged it in, set it up with no troubles and am using it today. To me it’s impressive when something like this just works without hassle right of of the box.

  2. Francisco Ruiz

  3. Danie van der Merwe

Works 100% as advertised. Just had to ensure on the NVR it was picking it up (not via web browser login to NVR), and it works the same as my static cameras.Worth noting (and it does not claim to have) it has no tripod hole mount, so I made use of a cellphone holder on a boom arm for flexible positioning.

After Wyzecam started gouging customers, who under the advertising at the time, offered FREE video surveillance. Now, they charge. So….I started looking for a system to replace my previous surveillance cameras. After many and I mean many hours of searching, reading, re-reading reviews and product promises, I landed on this product, RioLink. I am extremely satisfied at what RioLink offers. Especially this E1 Pro camera. Also, the app that is necessary to view and control this camera has more than enough setting to satisfy the camera’s owner.

  5. puppy love

Picture quality is great for the price . Sound quality is good. I can hear what is going on but when I talk to people over the camera, the sound is not perfect. Great for watching you diabetic dog when you are at work or running errands. It lets you speak to your pup.

Usually I’m not one to leave a review for a product. But this little camera blew me away. As soon as I plugged it in the blue light came on. It gives you instructions on how to set up the camera. I had it all set up in 5 minutes or less. Camera quality is great when going into settings and picking the 4m quality. Motion detection works great, as soon as it depicts motion. An alert is sent to my phone. I read a lot of reviews on here. Not sure why some of them were negative. Very simple and easy. Worth the buy!

  7. Feed’n frenzie

I like that this takes pictures and video and sends alerts to my email. Don’t like that if you leave night vision on red lights are on device and device can get warm or hot. Also Wi-Fi doesn’t lock.

Ordered two, installed one of them and at first video quality isn’t the best until I checked everything in the app and found I can change it’s settings and I mean for the price it looked so good and in my opinion for someone who plays a lot of video games we just kinda live for visual quality and let me just state that I’m very satisfied. I’m more curious on what’s the highest gb size of SD card I can use for maximum storage and as well as of course video quality of the save/stored files. I checked online and this specific model wasn’t really in the list that showed what best suits it’s features but other than that I liked this product.Do I recommend it? I mean since I’ve only had it for a day I say go for how you feel after reading this review and if this is enough to convince you that it’s sufficient for your current situation then yes just as it was to me then let this be the sign to go get it and if not, no pressure. Lol.Will be updating throughout!-JL.

Finally a camera without a subscription. Also works on a 5ghz wifi band. And at my apartment that is the only wifi band my router has so this is one of the only cameras I can use. This camera with a sd card works great. At the 4 mega pixel farm which is 1440p shows very high quality views. Definitely get a 128gb micro sd card because it is enough for 4 days of 24 hr viewing. And with the sd card you don’t need to buy a subscription plan and you just view it from the app. My only grip is that the motion detection auto record doesn’t work at all. So I set the camera to record all day. Small detail but it’s still good. I plan to get another camera soon. So I recommend to anyone.

This was easy to plug in and get working. I already had the app loaded on my phone, from my 4-cam/8-channel NVR system. Plug this camera in to the network and power it up, set it up. Unplug the network and power, and put it anywhere there is a power receptacle. Instant WiFi cam!Mammy Cam. Got this for Mom. I can watch my 89 year-old Mom from anywhere my phone is. I can see the whole room, or zoom in on the bed. I can see if her eyes are open in the darkened room. (Almost creepy… but now I can know that I might need to check on her comfort.) I could not zoom in and read the light writing inked onto a post-it on a wall 8 feet away. But that may be asking too much? Image is otherwise more than acceptable.PT works from a control-circle showing on the phone screen. (Don’t recall whether I tried a ‘swipe’ in a direction, to do this.) Z works by spreading two fingers that are touching the image on the phone, standard Android zoom. Viewing on the phone offers three resolutions. “Fluent”, a middle offering, and the Hi-Def. The highest/finest seems to use phone data, even though it was connected to my home Wifi. Does not bother me, but thought I’d mention it.I also loaded the PC app to my home (gaming) computer. Mouse over the picture, drag left, right, up, down, or scroll the mouse wheel to zoom. Easy. Faster response than the phone. Response seems instantaneous. (Add a second for the phone.) Have not received sound yet, but I know this is a setting somewhere. I believe I left this turned off at set-up, wherever that setting was, as I was worried about feed-back when I was setting it up. Now I want it… I’ll find it… just got a mic, too. More work to do.On both apps, the camara and the NVR seem to register as two different (NVR?) devices.- My NVR ‘device’ offers me the 3 cams that I currently have it set up to see (a few more are waiting for install), and this camera offers me… this. The NVR can be set up to register and record this camera, also. I just haven’t gotten there yet.- This camera will also act as it’s own individual NVR device and will record to/ play from it’s own memory card (which you provide – up to 256G, was it?), which it seems can also be accessed from the app, when installed. (I don’t have a card in mine – yet?) When I get to setting it up on the NVR, it will record to there. It can also record to an FTP server. (My NAS has an FTP server I can run, to make this happen, and 11 TB of storage.)More to try, but so far, very good.
