I’m 57 years old and have red hair that has a good bit of light gray. Red and gray hair are both extremely porous. My hair was a frizzy mess. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on shampoos, conditioners, keratin treatments, serums and the list goes on. I finally purchased Olaplex No 5 Conditioner. This stuff is amazing. I live in the south and humidity is extremely high. I’ve never ever had a product work like Olaplex. Washed my hair two days ago, and it still looks very smooth and soft. I will be purchasing the shampoo in a few days. If you can’t afford both, I recommend just going for the conditioner first.

When I went several months ago for my 8 week hair coloring appointment, my stylist told me she noticed some breakage where I have been sleeping with my hair on top of my head (I was not using a scrunchie at that time). I had read some really good reviews on this brand and decided I should try it. It’s pricey, but thought I’d check out the hype. Boy, what a difference this has made on my hair! My stylist has notices a huge improvement, and even my hubby loves it. I have been using now for almost 5 months and am now a convert sharing the hype! I do want to note- that it didn’t happen overnight. I didn’t plan on purchasing a second bottle because after the first 5 or so washes my results were very “meh”, nothing to get excited about. But then I hit a sweet spot- and the next wash was just amazing! I live in a humid part of the south and I noticed I had no frizz and my hair felt like glass. The good results kept coming! I am hooked and while pricey, I have to use only other hair product on my hair now so I am saving money in the long run. Best hair purchase I have ever made!

I have white hair, which started in my 20s. So I have been coloring for years and years. Despite a great stylist who takes good care of my hair, it still became dry. Due to some health issues, I had alot of hair fall out which didn’t help. I used other brands of bonding shampoos/conditioners and they were ok, but had an odd scent that I did not really like. I use this now on a schedule with some other good shampoos and conditioners and my hair feels great. I love the scent. It’s very light and doesn’t clash with anything. It reminds me of a very soft & light citrus scent, maybe lemon and vanilla. It is worth every penny.
