Wow!! Long story short: this exceeded my expectations! (But choose a good detergent)The rest of the story:I work full time and am a full time student. My husband and I live in a tiny 500sf apartment, and we desperately needed some solution for our dishes problem! After doing tons of research, we bought this.It is amazing. I’m impressed. I’ve put it through it’s paces and checked with dishes of varying mess and it has been a champ! The only time we struggled was when using a generic liquid detergent, it had some silverware problems. When I increased the amount of the weak detergent and then when I switched to a generic “pod” style detergent, it was spotless! We do have really hard water, so I add a splash of vinegar in before closing the door to help a bit, but I don’t think that’s even necessary with the pods. For an idea on capacity, I’m amazed how well this meets the needs of a two person household. Depending on the cooking supplies used, I can run it once or twice a day and be fine. I am amazed at the size of dishes it will fit even with the utensil rack in! And if I take the utinsel rack out, I can fit in my 8qt instant pot liner! I have a half size cookie sheet that fits in easily with other dishes so well that we’ve abandoned using the full size sheets. We don’t really need them for two people anyway and this makes clean up just too convenient!I’ve been amazed at how well it gets off dried or caked on grime! I’m sure I’ll have to pay for that in cleaning the filter more often, but the trade off is worth it for me.Also, we have literally less than 2’x2′ counter space, so I placed it on a microwave cart near the sink and it’s been beautiful! Especially having the tank fill function rather than needing to attach to the faucet has been amazing!I have a hard time spending money and am prone to second thinking my purchases, but this little appliance was worth every penny!

while it is a portable dishwasher vs the normal built in, it works great for small loads. we were nervous to purchase something this big but ita definitely been worth it!it has multiple wash settings, heats the water, and you can have it dry your dishes too if you choose. we let ours airdry and leave the washerdoor open. 10/10 so far!also, very easy to take apart and clean. we have used pods and powder detergent; I assume powder is better long term since pods are for full dishwashers. we have not tried liquid detergent but im sure it works just as well!

Overall, we love this little machine. Our use: We have a summer place in a luxury RV Resort near a beach. Our place is a park model home, and is spacious, but with not enough room for a full size dishwasher. This fits beautifully on our countertop and drains directly into the sink. I did not tie mine in to my water supply, and we use the provided container to fill the dishwasher FROM THE TOP.Pluses: 1. easy to use…just fill it up, add a cascade dish tab, and choose your type of wash (eco mode, full, quick, etc).2. Does not take much space and fits a surprising amount of stuff.3. Quiet.4. Really does a fantastic job.5. It has a drain pump, so you don’t need to worry about it being higher than where you drain it into for gravity draining.6. It’s great for pots and pans too (but they do take up more space, so we get creative when putting them in…like Tetris).Minuses: 1. If it’s not tied into your water supply and you fill it from the top, you can’t fit it under an upper cabinet unless it’s like 32 inches above your counter.2. Larger dinner plates (12 inch). Won’t fit straight up and down, so you have to lean them and it takes up space. However, we’ve easily washed a set of 4 smaller ten inch plates, with associated glasses, salad bowls, and silverware at once. For us, the minuses really didn’t matter because we have plenty of counter space and already had a variety of plate and bowl sizes. Been using it daily for a month so far and we love it.

it does it’s job just run water and wash away all nastiness from dishes stick em in there, fill it up till it’s over filling with water (it will empty the rest) pour white vinegar and some small dish soap in it and this thing works fr it gets so hot (120 degrees) might take a few tries to get the trick but it works amazing

So I’ve had this for about six months. And I wanted to wait before reviewing it.A couple weeks after getting it, it was giving me an error that the only “fix” was to contact them. They had me send mine back to them and they mailed me a replacement.Ever since then I’ve had no issues with it. So I think it was just a fluke, but even so they were quick to replace it.So, it’s super easy to use and honestly a life saver. I have depression and hand washing dishes is just miserable for me. They will pile up. But this? It definitely helps! I can split up my dishes into a few smaller loads and it’s great. I do have to hand wash bigger things like my crock pot, larger pans and baking sheets. But it can surprisingly fit almost every thing else. Sometimes you just have to be clever with how you place it.Also it’s really good at washing stuff too. Theres been times I’ll put nasty stuff in there, no pre wash, just to see if it could handle it. And it always has so far. Color me impressed!I also show it off to everyone that comes over lol. I love it that much. It’s a little pricey, but worth it! My husband and I each paid half of it for a Christmas gift to each other Christmas of 2021 lol. A practical gift that we both use daily.I definitely recommend this!

I’ve had this for two months now and I LOVE IT. The product is in constant use and works without any issues at all. It is beautiful and powerful. I use the provided pitcher which comes with the machine as my tap is already hooked up to a countertop water filtration system. I cut the water hose(which drains the dirty water out) with a pair of scissors to fit my sink better as it was quite long, and this has worked perfectly well. I have only used the strong setting to wash my dishes and small pans, cups, bowls, food storage containers and silverware, and cooking utensils. It takes a while but this is fine by me as I am freed to do other things. Finally, my sink is no longer perpetually filled with dirty dishes! I only wash a large pan by hand. I use the Cascade Advanced Power gel/liquid detergent (which I buy in a very large container at Costco). I am highly pleased. The only thing is that drying is not always 100% but that is not an issue for me. A quick wipe with a dish towel and away in the cupboards and drawers! The cycle noise does not bother me. I can even sleep while the machine is running. The chimes and melodies are pleasing. I love this machine. It has improved my life and productivity immensly. I highly recommend it.

I am a person that hates doing dishes with a passion. I would rather scrub a floor with a toothbrush than to wash one glass. I just hate doing dishes. I am retired and living in Mexico now. People here typically don’t have dishwashers, no idea why! But they don’t.I received this today and it is very easy to put together, extremely easy. I will say the directions are not the best but there are youtube videos that make it simple as can be.I have run it twice so far and I love it. It does a good job, there are 5 settings to pick from. It is just great.I will come back later if there are any changes since I have only had it for 1 day. But if it turns out to be a dud, I will come back and tell the whole story. For now, I am thrilled with it.Update: I just came back to edit this review a bit and turns out I never sent it after completing it.I have had this item for 2 months now and I am totally satisfied thus far. It does a good job, takes up little space, it is very quiet, and I use the drying feature to sterilize jars I keep microgreen seeds in. I just really like this product!

So for starters I bought this is in April 2022, it’s now June 2022 and it’s still going strong!! It was a little tall so it didn’t fit under my cabinets but it worked out fine because I just put it on my sink and it drains directly into my sink so I don’t need the drainage hose. I will also say the the quick connect hookup leaked like crazy but a little bit of plumbers tape fixed that right up!I was worried that my 11in plates wouldn’t fit but they do as long as I put them at an angle. Even most of my bigger pots and pans fit, though only a couple at a time. Usually when I’m doing a couple pots I’ll use a few drops of dish soap so that way I’m not wasting those pricey detergent pods on just one or two dishes and it works just as good!I have used the veggie setting just once though. It did do a good job but I felt like it was a waste of time. I think it took about 15 minutes when I could’ve scrubbed everything in about 5.I love the eco mode! It does just as good as a job as the strong and standard mode! Even on pans that I’ve left sitting on my stove for a week! (Don’t judge me lol)Overall this thing is a freaking life saver! I love it so much! It’s bigger than it looks too! 10/10 recommend!

  9. ShaSha

This dishwasher is very helpful.Yes it is small, but it is a portable dishwasher right! While the machine takes longer than i would at washing the dishes I am not the one doing it. And we all know the germs in sponges so good bye to that, it makes me happy that my dishes are sanitized. And specially important if you have people over.I do dislike doing dishes. So for me that was my biggest push to get it.Tip:Before purchasing this machine, I would count how many dishes we would usually dirty regularly. So I knew they would fit. If you have a huge family or you dirty way too many dishes you will look forward to loading it several times. But for us it works just fine if i run it for breakfast and than for dinner. The fruit feature is THE BEST! I love this so much. Now i have my fruit and veggie clean on hand at the time of consumption. That alone saves me time. A little tip: I added BAKING SODA in the detergent compartment to wash my fruit!I can NOT say enough!! LOVE it.DRYING FEATURE:….. so after 60 minutes there are still drips of water in some of the dishes. So at first i thought there might be something wrong. But it seems like this is the norm. Second time around my dishes were more dried so the way you place it on the dish rack will determine how dried each item gets. Its not a deal breaker, unless you pay electricity and dont want to run the thing for 60 minutes to then find out they are still semi wet.I use a towel, to dry what is left of water on my dishes and i also wipe the whole inside of the dishwasher.ONE CONCERN :When i bought this i knew there was the possibility of the dish rack rotting because i saw some pictures. After having mine, I can see why this may happen. With almost anything that is metal and you leave it sitting in a puddle of water— that seems very likely to happen. So to avoid this happening to me i am now drying my dish rack with the towel after every wash, or you can leave it out of the machine to air dry. After you wash and close the door you will see the door gets foggy inside- its very humid in there so of course that too can contribute to the rack rotting if left enclosed in a humid place day by day.So i am happy that I can keep maintaining my machine and hopefully avoid this.THE UTENSIL RACK ??:The utensil rack that it brings, i consider useless. The only way i could use that is if all i have to wash were bowls and cups. But my big plates only fit without it. SOLUTION: I purchased a Airmsen brand cutlery basket which i am still waiting on. Its the small cutlery basket that other brands of portable dishwashers come with.HEIGHT:The dishwasher is 18 point something inches. It fits under my cabinets after removing the water tank cover. And since i don’t have no space above to add the water, we added a towel underneath the dishwasher which makes it easier to slide it out from under the cabinet to give me access to fill the tank. Without this dishtowel underneath it felt heavier to move her out because the feet may have a rubber and make it harder since it sticks to the counter.DISCOVERY!!! ?You can pre-fill with water. After my dishes finish washing every night. I turn the machine on and fill with ? water until i get the Ding sound. So my dishwasher is ready for use the next day. Its one step less to worry about. I love this! And if visitors come over they dont even need to see you adding the water because its preloaded!! Just put in the dishes and enjoy company.BUT about this, every time you fill your machine with water make sure your hose is still out to drain because if you overfill it – it will spit the extra water back out on the spot.As you can see in my pictures i open my drawers and place the water hose so that the drawers can keep it steady in place. The hose is all curled up so it was hard to have it stay straight into the bucket below. So that has been my solution to that.So far i am happy with this buy. Took me months to purchase. And i’m glad i did. Its a little luxury yes. If you dislike washing dishes, and have painful days… its nice to have if its in the budget.I have to say!!!! I never really hated cooking. What i hated was washing the dishes. NOW i feel free cooking and dirtying dishes does not matter to me because i have this little helper now. Plus it was hard for me to cook knowing i have dishes in a sink.A clean sink motivates me to cook!!!I am Happy Happy.

I had to give this workhorse dishwasher 5-stars because of how well it works and cleans but the instruction manual is not as good as it could be and I do have to clean out the water sprayers every week or so.I was looking for a countertop dishwasher to use and I have a fancier faucet that would not allow a cord to be attached, so I needed one with a fill-up tank. I spent about two weeks looking at the reviews of almost every countertop dishwasher that you could buy and almost every model seemed to have about 10% of the customers getting a poorly functioning or a non-functioning dishwasher (with E4 computer chip errors, etc.) from the start. This Kapas Countertop Dishwasher was the only one with very low negative ratings, so I decided to get it and it has been a great little machine. When installing the drain hose, I followed the owner’s manual but it was mainly based on illustrations and simple instructions. I could have used more instructions because after 2 weeks of use, I received a ‘b’ error code and that was not in the instruction manual. When that appeared, I could see that the sprayers weren’t working, so I popped them off (like the images in the instruction manual indicated) and cleaned the spray holes with a pipe-cleaner tool. When I put them back on again, they worked right away and the ‘b’ code disappeared. Then a few weeks later, the ‘b’ code appeared again. I did the same cleaning process on the sprayers and they worked right away, so I have to assume that the ‘b’ code means ‘blocked’, even though it wasn’t listed in the owner’s manual. Now I just pop off the sprayers every 7-10 days and use a pipe cleaner tool around the spray holes and I have not had the ‘b’ code since and I have had this unit almost 5 months now. The upper sprayer can be harder to thread on and it sometimes takes a few tries.I followed the advice from other reviewers and I always fill the tank with hot water (then the machine heats that hot water even further) and it has cleaned the dishes beautifully. I also like having a removable silverware tray because that allows me to wash my mixing bowl from my Kitchen-aide mixer or my large Crock-pot ceramic insert or my large multi-cooker/ electric pressure cooker bowl inside. That was a pleasant surprise because I wasn’t sure they would fit inside when I bought the machine. I can also wash my tall glass water bottles if I put them in and tilt them on a slight angle (which allows the dish-washing spray to reach the tops of the bottles. When the dishwasher is heating the water at the start of the load it makes more noise, but I wouldn’t call it “loud.” Once the hot water is flowing, it quiets down and is very quiet through the rest if the cycle. I usually run it at night because it is so quiet. It beeps one time when the washing and rinsing cycles are done so you know it is moving into drying mode and it beeps again when it is finished. The dryer works well on silverware and dishware but I usually have to dry the plastic dishes with a dishtowel before I put them away (a minor inconvenience when compared with the convenience of not having to wash dishes by hand.) I have tried most of the cycles and they all work as described but I prefer Standard most of the time. It takes about an hour and a half to wash and dry the dishes using that setting. This dishwasher has been energy efficient as I do 1-2 loads a day. Our electric bill only increased about $4 per month for all of those loads, so it has been cost-efficient. Because it uses less water and is so good on electricity, it is more earth-friendly than handwashing dishes. I also use a biodegradable soap and have found Better Life Dishwasher Gel to be cost-effective and I like that it isn’t harmful to the environment. As I said at the start, this dishwasher isn’t perfect but it is very good. On Thanksgiving, I ran 6 loads, one right after the other, and it cleaned the last batch as well as it did the first. I have been pleased that it has turned out to be such a great dishwasher, a true workhorse, and I would recommend it to anyone (as long as you are prepared to clean the sprayers every couple of weeks.)
