I got this so I’d be more comfortable parking my moped while I was at work. I didn’t want people to be tempted to touch or sit on it, due to safety reasons.I have forgotten it was on and surprised myself when I went to sit on it, just with the first quick chirp.I’ve also surprised other people by saying, go ahead, touch it. And they always jump when they hear it.It’s not super super loud for where I have mine mounted, but loud enough I’ve had someone come out of the building I was in front of when I forgot to disarm it to see what the noise was.The zip ties work well for how I have mine mounted and I am not worried about them snapping or being very accessible for other people to snap. You’d definitely have to cut them vs being able to pull them off, for me at least. I didn’t use the adhesive. The alarm will ring for a while if fully set off, and cycled through different alarms. Idk how I set that but I did like it, making it very known that it was an alarm.Overall, I like this and definitely recommend it to others for some more peace of mind.

The square sticky patches that come with the product do not adhere on all surfaces and during hot weather I had to use a workaround. I used the bottom half of an old nylon and put the alarm into the foot section and tied it around the door knob and for the second alarm (for the main door) I got up on a ladder and used the same method and tied the section of nylon to the manual release to my garage door.I like the fact that the wind can sometimes set It off because I feel like anyone driving by would then be aware that the door isalarmed.

It’s another layer of security for your bike when unattended. The alarm is loud easy to use right out of the box. When armed any motion to disturb your bike sets it off.

  4. Amazon Customer

Easy to install and set up. A great deterrent when used in conjunction with with bike locks. Remember, nothing will 100% prevent a thief from getting your bike. All we can do it make it as difficult and annoying to steal.

When I am parked in a possibly sketchy area, I tie this loosely with a piece of an old electric cord around the exhaust pipe just behind the catalytic converter on my Subaru Outback and place the alarm on top of the cat (after it has cooled off). If anyone touches the exhaust pipe or the cat, it will definitely set it off – and warn them away, I hope. Setting it directly on the cat itself solves the issue mentioned by some that it was not always set off by car motion when installed under the hood or elsewhere in the car. No, it’s not as loud as a regular car alarm but I think it will discourage thieves. For an inexpensive cost, it gave me piece of mind recently when I left the car for 3 days while backpacking.

I bought this product for my e bike that I just purchased. It is such a must have!!! Works extremely well!!! Loud alert will deter any would be bicycle thief! I rest assured knowing my property is safely guarded with this security alarm!

  7. Taylor

No theif would go near this. It is very loud and sensitive. Perfect for an expensive stroller or bike! Scared my husband a few times!

  8. PParkhu

I got this alarm for my e-bike. Installed and it works like it’s supposed to. I liked it so much, I’m now awaiting for my second delivery of two more. Just remember to disarm the unit before moving it. I was going to go for a late night ride and approached my bike, lifted the kick-stand and the alarm went off. I let go of the bike and it went into the ‘serious’ secondary alarm. Now I’m scrambling for my remote to turn off the alarm. Of course it wasn’t near me so, I’m scampering around looking for my keys. I love this alarm. It’s everything they said it was (is). Can’t wait for my second delivery (between 3:00 and 5:00 pm – come on already, It’s 3:30). If you have anything of value (e-bikes, e-scooters, etc. get these. I’ll tell you, You will NO be disappointed! Because I’m cheap, I got the 2 extra alarms to put on my doors. (Too cheap to get cameras for my house.) I know these will wake me should someone try to open the doors. Yes, I’ll try to remember to ‘unlock’ before I leave. 🙂

  9. Kyle Jeff

It’s insanely loud and the sensitivity level is useful, it ranges from literally any movement or vibration sets it off to it moving a foot or so. The main downside is removing the batteries is pretty hard and maybe it feels like it can break if you do (it didn’t though)

  10. Kanu

Holy Crap this thing is the best alarm I bought for my bike so far. It’s extremely loud and sensitive, which is how it should be. The downside I would say is that the zip ties it comes with can easily be cut, and alarm can be thrown away if thief moves fast enough, especially if it’s a bicycle and it’s your only line of defence against thivery. I wouldn’t recommend it as a primary alarm but rather as a backup/secondary alarm, unless you have a better way of securing it to your mode of transportation, like buying screws n screwing it on
