I wish I had bought this before I got ADT cameras. I got it because it’s a brand name but they have a contract that I am trapped in until 2026!!! I pay $60 a month just for them to call police if alarm goes off. So basically $6” per month for 5 years that you can’t get out of plus at least $1,000 for cameras and equipment. Blink cameras are soooo much cheaper and work just as well as ADt cameras, no difference whatsoever. I wish I could go back and just purchased more blink cameras as opposed to ADT, they are a total scam don’t fall for it and go for these cameras instead

The camera works great and notifies me immediately when it detects motion. I did not know this until it came in the mail but you only have 3 months of free Blink footage. After this, you must pay monthly to be able to have the camera footage saved. The free plan allows you to only receive motion detection alerts and view the live footage. Without upgrading, videos recorded when motion is detected will not be saved! Great product if you’re willing to pay a monthly fee.EDIT: Company reached out to me regarding the monthly fee and told me a module and local flash drive is a way to avoid this fee. They went ahead and gave me this device for free! Absolutely amazing on their part for reaching out and clearing up any issues that I had. I understand it can be confusing having to purchase more than device and they went out of there way to ensure I got the best out of my Blink camera.

This is the second camera I’ve bought for my dog. I always like to wait a couple of months in order to write my review, to not only talk about the features but also how well has it help up over time.I bought this camera back in December 2021 (it’s now april 2022) and I might say im surprised. I initially bought it to try to catch my dog marking on the hallway, I talked to him on the microphone when I saw him smelling, it worked for a couple of days, until started completely ignoring the camera, LOL.Anyways, i now use it to check on him while I’m at work. Im going to talk about the hardware and then about the software itself.HARDWARE: It’s amazing! I don’t have this camera screwed to the wall so it actually falls a lot, once it even fell into his water bowl and it still works perfectly, which I’m actually surprised at.SOFTWARE:PROS:- you can use it without paying for any subscription- it’s reliable- while you CAN use this without paying the subscription to see the live views, i would actually recommend just spending the $3 monthly to be able to save the videos. It has a motion detection and it just saves them automatically when it detects motion which is amazing. I did use it with a couple of months without the subscription but I just paid for it and I think it’s worth it.CONS:- if you don’t pay for the subscription you’ll only be able to watch the live view for 5 minutes at a time, plus, it will ask every 30 seconds if you want to keep watching, if you don’t click continue it will stop showing the video, which is kind of annoying. And if you’re using it as a baby monitor it will probably not be good for you. Trust me. It’s annoying.- Idk if this is actually a con, but if you pay for the subscription there’s a beta thing that will allow you to watch for 90 minutes continuously, but it won’t be able to save the videos if you’re watching on the “extended live view” as they call it. I can’t speak a lot on this one because it’s a new feature.Anyways, I hope this helps!PD: This review is not paid and I bought this with my own money, the company did not ask me to write this review. I bought this to watch my apartment in case someone broke in & keep an eye on my dog and also get it on recording to see if my dog peed on the carpet (yay apartment living). It definitely did exactly what I needed it for & then some. Trying to get it set up at the new place but for some reason keeps saying the wifi is disconnected but it’s not.

These are the BEST!! We bought one to be able to watch our 16 month yellow lab who seems to have separation anxiety. It was very affordable and one was not enough to be able to watch and talk to her when we are not home. We now have 5 and it is SO MUCH FUN watching her. We got the annual subscription which was also very affordable $100/yr for all cameras. We only put motion detecting when not home and it works perfectly. Thank you Amazon – top notch!!

I have to be honest, I really didn’t think this little camera was going to work the way I expected it to, but I was surprised at how well it works, just excellent! Clear picture, I love how easily you can change the settings. The live view is great (I have a puppy who needs watching when he is in the room with my other pups which is the main reason I bought it, he is a chewer) I love that I can push the talk button to talk to the dogs to get them to stop doing whatever it is they are doing. The setup of this camera was effortless, I had everything set up in minutes. I used it to watch my front door while I and the dogs were out of town, the notifications alerted me to anyone who was in the house, and again the live view was perfect. This is a great, inexpensive camera, it is well worth the purchase.

I’ve been reading a lot of reviews on google and other places on these mini cameras and a lot of people said they were crap and others said they were amazing. All I’m going to say is that it’s a great deal! Probably spend $50 tops for a camera that can pretty much sit anywhere as long as you can plug it in and it comes with a free month subscription to test! It’s absolutely amazing. I armed mine at night and went to take a picture in the Amazon app and as you can see I got notified immediately! The picture wasn’t even uploaded yet ?. It’s an amazing deal. You can pay $10 a month for the subscription after you use the free trial ($120yr) or you can pay $100 for a year up front which is to add multiple cameras. If you only need one it’s cheaper like I think $3 or $6 or something like that. Very easy on the wallet lol. I think it’s probably going to be the very cheapest security system that has that many perks. I can record live or it records for me if someone steps in my yard! It’s got great camera quality for the price. I thought it was going to be like crappy slightly pixelated but no it’s really decent actually. I’m really happy with my purchase and I plan on getting more cameras and adding them to the $100 a year plan.P.S. Instal and setup connection only took about 10 minutes after I figured out where I wanted it!! Also very small, discreet, and hidden! Totally recommend!!

I bought this just to keep an eye on my dog when I’m not home. It works perfectly for that. He completely ignores me when I try to talk to him through it, but my cats thoroughly inspect it so I know they hear something and I can hear everything going on in the room. The night vision and image is perfectly sufficient for what I need it for.I bought a returned one for $17. And it was in perfect brand new condition.You need a subscription to save video but it works fine without a subscription.The peace of mind is well worth the $17. Completely satisfied with my purchase.

If you’re thinking of just keeping an eye out for one specific thing this camera is great. We had it angled so we could see our dogs sleeping in their beds. We didn’t try the night vision and we didn’t use it all the time so I can’t honestly say what that was like. I wish we did get the one that rotates 180 degrees. Next time. LOL For what we wanted it for it was perfect. I even got to talk to them. My little man wouldn’t eat until I told him to. LOL Just LOVED IT!!!
