    I had a locksmith change every handle and deadbolt on my house and put this on the front door. He installed it really quickly but I can’t speak to the ease for the average person. The lock is nice and works well, it’s easy to navigate and set codes.We have contractors working in our house and it has made it really easy to set a code for them that will be deleted once they wrap work up. I was a little worried about giving them keys to my house that can be duplicated by anyone on the large team, so this completely bypassed that issue.I would recommend it!

    You can add multiple codes to this lock. You cannot change the codes remotely (boo). Great for a basic digital lock. I use on a cleaners closet within one of my vacation rentals. It’s very easy to use and setup.

    I’d give this device 10 stars!So…. This came this morning, eating my lunch, perusing the owners manual and thinking “Not sure this will work out. Looks like a nasty install with a lot of mod’s to the existing steel clad entry door” Not so.I had the existing deadbolt out and this device in… in 15-20 minutes. Easy-Peasy and went in without mod’s to the door or frame. I used a drill with a phillips bit (contrary to instructions- zip-zip screws out and in.)Here’s my situation: I am rural. I do lock the door at night. I have a locking door-knob in addition to a dead bolt. Near zero traffic in here except for deliveries. I do lock the door if I am gone for the day or a few days. I have pets that someone will take care of if I’m not around. This device will make it easier them to get in and lock up when they leave.Me: I am old and lazy. I haven’t experimented with the passcode(s). For now it is my street address. Going to test-out a 2 digit or maybe a 1 digit passcode. I believe that if it is incorrectly entered, the device will auto lock out for 45 minutes? I have security cameras. I mean what stranger is going to come in and try to hack this lock with 80 zillion potential passcodes, locked out if they get it wrong? I hate trying to let myself in with both arms full, fumbling for my keys. Push a button- door unlocks.A one digit passcode? Hackers would stand a 1 in 10 chance of getting it.. Or wait 45 minutes to try again. Its all fun and games trying to hack an electronic door lock. “ How much time you got?”This lock device appears to be well built, easy to install and retrofit, and 99.99% immune to hackers. I’ve shied away from ‘net dependent digital locks. Overly complex for what it needs to do=overkill and problematic. KISS= Keep it simple, stupid!

    You can install this in less than 15 mins. If you pay attention and read/comprehend the instructions, just take your time. I noticed it was the same “lock” as the kwikset it replaced.

    Bought this to replace a different brands lock that was faulty. I absolutely love this lock. Installation and setup was very easy. I have had zero issues, does exactly what it was designed to do.

    Set up is a tad tricky however it looks nice and it’s not a hard I stall! I recommend watching some YouTube videos to installed !

    This was super easy to install (I had an existing hole from a previous deadbolt). As far as programming, I initially got frustrated and thought this was defective until I realized that the user code is what unlocks the door, NOT the programming code. So, create a new programming code and then create a new user code. To lock it, you just need to click the lock/unlock button. To unlock it, enter the USER code and then hit the lock/unlock button. Overall, I’m impressed with how easy this was to install and the quality considering it’s one of the least expensive keyless deadbolts out there.

    These are 1/4 the prices of Schlage locks I had previously and just as durable. Much better overall value and much easier to program.
